Poor little Bobby, he’s so bored. 
He doesn’t know what to do so he goes to complain to his mother. 
“Mom” he whines, “I’m so bored, there’s nothing to do”. 
“Why don’t you play with Billy next door?”
“I hate him, he never wants to do what I like to do” replies Bobby. 
“Well, how about calling on Doreen?”
“No way!” says Bobby, “She always wants to play house, and that’s for girls!”
“Maybe you’d like to ride your new bicycle” says his mother.  “You hardly ever use it”. 
“No, I hate the color, I wouldn’t be seen dead riding that ugly thing!” Bobby protests. 
“I know” she says, “what say you practice playing the new grand piano your father and I bought you last week?”
“Are you kidding? That thing is a piece of junk! How do you expect me to even want to touch the keys? You and Dad wasted your money on that!”
“Well Honey, I’m stumped.  I don’t know what to tell you” says Bobby’s mother. 
“Wait a minute, I have a great idea Bobby”
“What’s that mom?”
“Why don’t you help me wash these dishes?”
“Sorry Mom” replies Bobby, “I’m way too busy now, I have too many things to do.  See you later!”

Povero Bobby, è così scocciato. 
Non sa cosa fare e va a trovare sua madre per lamentarsi. 
“Mamma” piagnucola, “Sono così scocciato, non ho niente da fare”. 
“Perché non vai a giocare con Billy che abita accanto?”
“Lo odio,  non vuole mai fare quello che piace a me”, risponde Bobby. 
“Allora perché non vai a trovare Doreen?”
“Assolutamente no!” dice Bobby, “Vuole sempre giocare a “mamma e papà, e quello è per le bambine!”
“Magari ti piacerebbe guidare la bici nuova” dice la mamma, “non la usi quasi mai”. 
“Odio il colore, non vorrei essere visto mentre guido quella cosa orrenda!” protesta Bobby. 
“Lo so” dice lei, “Che ne pensi di suonare il nuovo pianoforte a coda che papà ed io ti abbiamo comprato la settimana scorsa?”
“Stai scherzando? Quel coso è un rottame! Come ti viene in mente che io possa anche solo toccare i tasti? Tu e papà avete sprecato i vostri soldi con quel coso!”. 
“Allora tesoro, sono in imbarazzo, non so cosa dirti” dice la mamma di Bobby. 
“Aspetta un attimo, ho un’idea fantastica Bobby”. 
“Cioè?”
“Perché non mi aiuti a lavare questi piatti?”
“Mi spiace mamma” risponde Bobby, sono troppo impegnato adesso, ho troppe cose da fare.  A dopo!”
